Our namesake hails from the story of Momotaro which translates to Peach Boy. It is a story that Mateo’s grandmother Yuriko would read to him as a child. Whenever she read it to him it always brought on a feeling of comfort. When choosing our name it was really a no-brainer that we wanted to be able to convey to our guests a feeling of comfort as they enjoy our ramen.

Momotaro Ramen was created as a necessity and executed with kokoro- meaning heart and soul… we are doing just that. Putting our hearts and souls into every dish.
